Today, on this quiet, early winter Sunday morning, I happened to listen to a song which I used to listen to just when you were taken away from us, and, suddenly, after all these years, I missed you so terribly much.
Yes, in time I learnt to accept that you were gone, even though I never could understand why.
I think back on a lifetime full of things that happened, things in which you featured somehow, and, it always makes me smile.
Yes, we were blessed with so many good memories, and, it is those good memories that I will treasure for the rest of my life.

I am so thankful that you played the big part in my life that you played, and, suddenly, unexpectedly, I caught myself missing you so very much today.
And today,I just wanna think back on the times with you, think back on the way in which you used to say and do things, chuckle at all the many funny incidents, and, shed a tear for the empiness that was left behind when you left.

So today, I just want to long for you.
Rest in Peace, and, know that I'll never forget you.

Q, what a wonderful tribute to the loved one you lost.

This really hit home for me. I lost my adoptive mom six months ago to ovarian cancer. Very wonderful tribute.

Q, that was such a sincere post. I understand where you're coming from. It's funny I should read this post, because I happen to be thinking some of the same thoughts. Whomever this person is, I hope and pray, that you have many wonderful, and charished memories.
